Didn't know the new style base top lids, come with polished edge.
Need to buy another one, to match the new one. The new style lids doesn't match the old top I have.

These are thick cast aluminum air filter tops.
A nice step up from the basic stamped sheet metal air filter tops and bottoms.  No more dealing with easily bent sheet metal that ends up allowing air leaks at the mating surface.
