We started out with a stripped out body and
floorpan that had definitely seen better days and no engine,
three years ago, since then we have gone through the entire
car from bumper to bumper and is still a work in progress.

I
bought this 72 super up in Chico my freshman year of college
for 500
bucks. I restored it myself, learning along the way. I have
never done
any rebuilding before, & this bug taught me how to do bodywork,
paint, suspension, brakes, wiring, upholstry and I have enjoyed
every minute of it!
|
I currently have a fresh 1600 in the car but picked up another
motor and am building a 1915 T3/To4 turbo with a holley 2 barrel
blow
through set up thanks to CB Performance. The car has been lowered,
new brakes, american racing 10 spokes, pop out windows, and new...
just about everything! This car is a blast and can't wait to drop
in the new engine and tranny! |

Standard and '72 Super Beetle
"Thanks
for all you guys do!!"
|
|
|
Bugnana
is a '72 Standard Beetle that has been tweaked a little….2"
dropped beam, 4 wheel discs, 8-spoke Empi's, full Scat interior,
2110 motor, close-ratio tranny with 3.88 pinion, and a full
complement of VDO guages in a custom dash insert. This one is
"Daddy's Toy"
|
|
Smurfin is a '72
Super Beetle that is pretty much stock…except for the TopLine
front struts and springs and 8-spoke Empi's. The 1600 is stock
and the interior is still original. This one is my daughter's.

To
add your vehicle to our Customer Rides Section, just send your specs,
along with atleast two pictures of your vehicle, to the Webmaster.
If you
haven't already submitted your vehicle to be in our Customer Rides section,
what are you waiting for? The T-2, and T-3 sections are looking a little
thin... Can your ride fill it in? |
