Well
I bought it on fathers day as my fun car but my but my kids
(and wife) get more use out of it so yeah they own it, I just
(try to) fix it. I bought a new 1600cc stock engine from CB
with dual port's and dual carbs eventually I would like to upgrade
the heads and add electronic ignition.

"Prices
along with customer service from CB has been great,
they were very helpful and prompt with replies."

Thanks
to all who have helped me with my fuel problems you guys/gals
have been great!
With
boost set at 15lbs and shift at 6500 this buggy really moves!
|
Thanks to your shop, Igot it running
really well. With the right fuel pump and turbo regulator this
thing really hauls *#%! Not sure of the Horsepower output, but
at 18 lbs. of boost, all you can di is hold it in the road!
I've
never been beat from red light to red light (vets old and new,
hot rods and street cars) - bring em on!
I race a 72 chevy vega @ 6.25 in the 1/8th, and this buggy with
a set of slicks.. well who knows!?!
"Thanks. I love your
shop!"

Buggy |
Name:
Mike Ragonese
Location: Hopedale, MA
|
|
|
I just got my Deserter mid-engine
street buggy completed. Pat did the turbo motor and I built
the rest of the entire car from the ground up including constructing
the mid-engine frame, the aluminum work, and bringing the 'glass
body, that was total junk, back to life.
|
I did all of the bodywork but had a pro shoot
the Ferrari Rosso Corsa Red paint. Rancho did the tranny. The
car is a screamer. I started buying parts from Claudes Buggies
back around the early 70s.
If
you like what you see you can check out the entire build at
mikeragonese.shutterfly.com.
I
think you'll like it.
